The Anschutz Foundation has given $50 million to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center to fund medical research, the Denver Post reports.
The money will be used to fund projects in a variety of fields, including oncology, dermatology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, pharmacology, dental medicine, and more.
"The Anschutz Foundation has championed the people and programs that drive innovation here," said CU Anschutz Chancellor Donald M.
Elliman in a statement.
"As a result, we have become recognized locally, nationally and internationally as leaders in healthcare innovation."
